Conference Championship Round Stats of the Week

Stat of the week No. 1: The 16-team NFC has produced 10 different champions over the last 10 seasons. Of the six teams that have not won a conference championship, five have won at least one playoff game (only Detroit has not won a playoff game in the last 10 years).

Stat of the week No. 2: LaMarr Woodley recorded his 10th career sack in his sixth career playoff, which is the fastest any player has reached 10 career sacks in the postseason.

Stat of the week No. 3: Ben Roethlisberger has won all three postseason games that rank as his worst, in terms of QB rating.

Stat of the week No. 4: Sam Shields became the first rookie and fifth player overall to register a sack and two interceptions in a playoff game.
Stat of the week No. 5: The Packers 21-14 win over the Bears was the first NFC championship game since 1978 that did not have a field goal made in the game.
