Conference Championship Stats of the Week

Stat of the Week no. 1: The Giants-Patriots' match-up will be the fifth Super Bowl rematch in history (Buf-Dal, Cin-SF, Pit-Dal & Mia-Was).  It will also be the third quarterback rematch in NFL history (Aikman-Kelly & Bradshaw-Staubach).

Stat of the Week no. 2: Tom Brady & Bill Belichick are the first quarterback-coach combination to win five conference championship games in the Super Bowl era.

Stat of the Week no. 3: John Harbaugh is the first coach in NFL history to win playoff games in each of his first four coaching seasons.

Stat of the Week no. 4: Eli Manning has won an NFL record five road playoff games and Tom Coughlin has won seven road playoff games, which is tied with Tom Landry for the most in history.

Stat of the Week no. 5: The Giants are the first team in NFL history to make the Super Bowl with a negative point differential during the regular season.
